"Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes..."

Even if you - like me - don't really care for Schnitzl with noodles, or even for Apfelstrudl, playing catch with snowflakes really is fun - in a cold, red-nosed, watery-eyed sort of way.
(And if there is an appealing Captain with steel-grey eyes nearby, then it can be really fun... :))

Of course, it helps to have eyelashes in the first place.
Not everybody has them in abundance.
(Mine are abundant enough - only, they are short and straight.)

But there is hope!
Here are the very latest (today's!) news from the eyelash-batting front.
From now, on you'll be able to get a prescription treatment to make your eyelashes longer, thicker and darker. At least that's what the makers of this new product promise:

I hear you: there is nothing "self made" about this tip.
Then again, it beats falsies...

But if you insist on home-made beauty, then you should absolutely try castor oil, a very powerful natural remedy for a number of conditions.
You can buy it in any drug store. Before going to sleep, just smear some on your eyelashes.
(It also promotes the growth of eyebrows and scalp hair.)

It's a time-honoured beauty tip. In fact, it's so old that there just might be something about it.
I must confess I don't use it because I wear contact lenses, and castor oil is very, very sticky.
But I have a cousin who used it as a teenager - and I must say, she really did have very nice, long and silky eyelashes.

Do let me know about your experiences with it.

And of course... don't forget to use those lashes appropriately. -;)
